Notes

Pikachu’s presence in this environment highlights the species’ remarkable adaptability and its widespread cultural distribution. While typically associated with forested or grassy regions, Pikachu is increasingly encountered in urban commercial habitats, often forming symbiotic relationships with gift shops, toy stores, and novelty retailers.

For the GeoPik Museum, this sighting reinforces Pikachu’s role not only as a mascot but as a globally recognised cultural ambassador — one capable of thriving in environments far beyond its canonical range.
